TNA wants political solution decided by year end

Srilankamirror - The TNA says the party’s aim is to conclude discussions with the government on finding a political solution to the ethnic issue by the end of the year.  Requests made by the TNA from the government to set a deadline to the discussions in order to make it more effective had not received a positive response.
TNA parliamentarian M.A. Sumanthiran said although the government has not responded to the party’s request to finalize a solution by the end of the year, the TNA would work towards that goal.

The TNA and the government has already set dates for four rounds of talks during the first half of December.

The next few discussions are to be based on 10 areas identified by both the TNA and the government at the talks held on the 16th.
